It consist of 24 teams altogether including teams relegated from League One and teams promoted from the Conference National. The top three teams and playoff winners are promoted to League One while teams relegated from League Two go to the non-league tier of the Conference National. The English League Two is the fourth division in English Football and is the richest fourth-tier league in the world today.
