Although the club did not perform as expected in the season 2oo9/2010 in the English Premier League, but they are still one of the MOST successful English club in history. The English League One

As you all know, League One is a part of The Football League. The "Coca Cola" logo is their because Coca Cola is their current main sponsor. Over the years, this league had various name changes. It was called Division Three(from 1920-1921), Division Three North/South(from 1921-1958), Division Three(from 1958-1992), Division Two(1992-2004) and since then, it is called The Football League One.

The rules are similar to typical football and English Leagues. There are altogether
24 teams competing in this league. Promotion to The Championship is the same as how to get promoted to the Premier League from The Championship.

Here are the teams currently in The Football League One:
  1. Brentford
  2. Brighton & Hove Albion
  3. Bristol Rovers
  4. Carlisle United
  5. Charlton Athletic
  6. Colchester United

History of English Football :D

Legend tells us that Football has been existed since Medieval times where unfortunately the game was played by Mobs at public executions where they used the head of a victim as their ball. Although it may not seem to be true, the national sport, football did start during the medieval times, but in a less gruesome way :P

In other case, the sport was introduced as a physical education classes throughout England.

William McGregor in Aston Villa first established English Football League on 8 September 1888 originally with 12 members club only.

*not bad*

There were over 72 football clubs from England and Wales in 1995 and split up into three divisions: The Championship, League One and League Two. Each division has about 24 clubs. The club getting increases every decade. About 92 club in 1950 and increase to 130 clubs in 2007. The first club that wins for 18 League title was Manchester United with Liverpool in 1901. After world war 1, Liverpool and Everton never been crowned as Championship for a quarter century. In 1980s new logo was made and replace the old logo.

*hmm nice*

In 2004 First Division,Second Division and Third Division were renamed as FOOTBALL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP,FOOTBALL LEAGUE ONE and FOOTBALL LEAGUE TWO.New Logo also was made
